BELIEVING IS NOT ALWAYS SEEING... Part 2 (Please scroll down to read Part 1 first)
You may pray for whatever it is, that you feel you need or wish. You actually do not even have to ask, because God already knows what you need, before you ask HIM, but it is good to discuss everything with HIM and have a dialogue and discussion. Secondly, you have to have FAITH, "that if it is good for you, you will receive it".
THE CHALLENGING PART IS THE WAITING, the waiting for the answers to our prayers. We of course, always think that what we are asking for is good and the best for us, but is it always? Sometimes, we can not see beyond a certain point in our lives, a time where things will be different and may actually be better. We can only ask for in the present, what we perceive is "good for us", but GOD does not have to perceive, because BELOVED JESUS is all knowing. He knows what is best for us and wants to give us all, the best of everything.
Believe me, having a deep loving relationship with Jesus in my humanness, I think may be frustrating sometimes for HIM...because I am a talker, I can be persuasive and I know that sometimes I "talk him to death". Of course, this is not possible. HE will never die from me or you talking to him. He is quite patient. In actuality, GOD is more impatient with us, when we do not talk with him. He much prefers that we talk to him to ease our worries, discuss our tribulations and receive his peace and love.
Having faith and spending time communicating with God is important. You have to believe that A) There is a God.
B) HE is listening.
C) HE will do what is best for you
D) Whatever the outcome, HE will be there for you.
It reminds me of a wedding vow, in good times and bad, sickness and health, God is always there. Unlike separations and unfortunately divorce, GOD will never leave us or separate from us. Only we are the unfortunate one, who could and would possibly turn their back on HIM. God will never.
Faith is not something which you acquire, collect or forget about. It is an inner belief which we must remember and practice. Our faith will and can be tested by others and maybe sometimes by God. But it is one thing, that in my opinion, you must never let go of, YOUR FAITH...YOUR BELIEF THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND WILL HELP YOU THROUGH ANYTHING. Hold on tight to that idea, walk around knowing it and believing it...because it is the truth!
You deserve to know the truth. God wants you to know the truth. He is tired of others deceiving you in this world. Have faith in God, believe in HIM and he will pull you through any situation.
I learned one very important lesson years ago. When things work out in my favor, I always thank God and when things do not work out in my favor, I still thank God. Why? Because I know deep down, that the result, at that time, WAS THE BEST FOR ME. I MAY CRY OR BE ANGRY, BUT I ALWAYS KNOW, IT WAS AND IS FOR THE BEST. I HAVE FAITH. GOD WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU.

BELIEVING IS NOT ALWAYS SEEING... Part 1
You have to have FAITH no matter what...If there is one thing to believe or remember, is that GOD is always there and will never abandon you.
FAITH is the core of everything. It is your inner belief system, that somehow "everything will work out". It is not always easy, sometimes it is extremely difficult, to let go of, what we think we have control of and let GOD handle it. We may feel like we are giving up if we let go, but in actuality, we are not giving up, we are giving in to GOD, to his will, which above all, is BEST FOR US.
This may be a hard and difficult concept for some of us to trust in. It takes practice, a lot of practice. We do not always know the future, sometimes we can only see what is in front of us. So to think that there is a better solution to a problem that we can not see, is also difficult. It is difficult to trust. But this is where FAITH comes in. If we do not have trust, we can not have faith.
When we trust in God, then we have faith. We demonstrate faith when we trust. When we believe, we have faith. FAITH IS BELIEVING IN WHAT WE CANNOT SEE. Faith is believing that God will somehow save us from our current situation, which may seem bleak or hopeless. Save us from ourselves, who are lonely and hopeless, that we will find love, happiness and companionship.
Believing in God takes strength. It is a gift from God that we possess and can either develop further or let go of. He does not force us...but HE WANTS US TO TRUST HIM, TO HAVE FAITH THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF US, IN ALL OUR NEEDS.
Faith, on the surface, sounds easy. Believe and it will happen. It will work out alright for you. However, this is not always the case. First of all, during trying and difficult times, having faith and keeping it, can be extremely difficult, exhausting and draining. You have to keep on trying, plugging away, even when things do not always look good. FAITH is the only thing you have and the only thing you have left to hold onto, BUT IT IS REALLY THE ONLY THING YOU NEED.
GOD is all knowing, loving and powerful. Nothing gets by unnoticed on HIS watch. When you place your trust in HIM and have deep FAITH, that is the only possession you need to survive. Because NOTHING can happen to you without his consent, without his approval and without his permission. FAITH is knowing deep in your heart that GOD is there, HE IS WATCHING AND INTERACTING WHENEVER NECESSARY. There are no mistakes with GOD. HE does not make mistakes, only we as human beings do.
Sure, you may think it is easy for me to sit here and write this, while some of you reading this, may be facing the most difficult challenge of your life or you are trying to make an important decision...but prayer and faith are what will get you through it. ( Please Read Part 2 to conclude)

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO NATASHA RICHARDSON'S FAMILY
Throughout the day yesterday and today, when I heard the news about Ms. Natasha Richardson, I though how tragic, how very sad... to lose your life so young, so quickly and leave behind 2 young boys... and a loving husband. She seemed so sweet, nice and had a smile that was full of life .
We do not understand why God allows some of us to live longer lives than others...It is a mystery...and we will never really know until we meet HIM in person...and then and only then...will things be made more clear to us.
There is only one thing I know for sure. This is not our final HOME. This place, which we consider home, is really our journey... to another place. We are all going someplace. We do not know exactly what it looks like or feels like but our lives here are temporary.
I wish to express my sincere sorrow to Mr. Liam Neeson and his family. I will pray that God helps them all through these horrible days and years ahead. To lose your Mother at any age is heartbreaking... and my prayers and well wishes goes out to their two young sons.
I believe Ms. Natasha Richardsons spirit has not died. She will always love her family, guide them and watch over them, here on earth...until they are all reunited again.
Sincerely,
K. Frangeskos

BE NICE TO OTHERS
BE NICE TO OTHERS...as my Father would say, "it doesn't cost you anything to be nice". Being nice to others is a more considerate way to be...instead of treating people rudely
and disrespectfully.
People treat others badly because they are angry. They may also be frustrated and they feel that they can get away with it, treating others unkindly. They are insensitive.
Today especially, everyone needs to be nice to one another. You do not know the difficulties a person next to you on line at a store may be going through, or even within our own families or friends. People are scared about losing their jobs, holding onto their money and just surviving the unknown but this does not give you the right to take out your frustrations on others or innocent bystanders.
Being nice to others is easy and does not take much effort on our part. It just starts with simply "being nice"...smiling and saying hello MAKES OTHERS FEEL GOOD. People need this now in our world. We can help others so much by simply being nice...
Try it for a few days. See the effect you have on others. People will be pleased, feel appreciated and respected. You will help make someone's day. Being KIND TO OTHERS IS INVALUABLE. Even if someone is too angry to appreciate your goodness, you will have known that you did your best...
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IS ALWAYS WATCHING..AND IS ALWAYS LISTENING...GOD !

ANY HEART
Come to Jesus with any heart! You do not have to be happy, sad or even know what you want. Come to HIM with "any heart"...
Throughout our life and certainly throughout our days, we change. Sometimes we feel happy, other times we feel sad and sometimes we do not even know what is bothering us, but we are not at peace.
Come to God, no matter how you are, at any time, for HE knows what is on your mind and in your heart. HE wants to help you. HE wants to help you enjoy life more. HE wants you to slow down and enjoy his creation. HE does not want you to worry. Our hearts change, moment by moment, day by day, up and down, but one thing is always constant and that is GOD.
He wants you to know, come to HIM at any time, with any thing on your mind or in your heart. HE already knows everything and wants to be their for you in everything, at any time.
Sometimes we feel or have the need to talk, other times we feel the need to listen and sometimes we can not even speak. We just need to be in the presence of the Lord and sit. This may be at Church , in a Chapel or in your room. Many times when I feel like "being with the Lord" in His presence, I bring a picture of Him near me, to look at, stare at and communicate with. It does not matter what I feel like or look like. I know HE understands everything going on in my life, from my biggest concerns down to the littlest thing on my mind. I no longer get embarrassed discussing anything.
YOU CAN GO TO JESUS WITH ANY HEART...AND AFTER AWHILE, NO MATTER HOW YOU STARTED OUT, YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL BETTER, STRONGER AND HAPPIER.
HE IS PLEASED WHEN WE GO TO HIM !

LIVE WORRY FREE WITH GOD
LIVE WORRY FREE WITH GOD...It is very simple, so why do so few people do it? So many people are so accustomed to worrying everyday about something. If it is not one problem, then it is another. People are always trying to solve their own problems. People can barely "keep up" with all they have to worry about, I do not know how they have the energy.
It must be so stressful, all the time. It drains you.
May I suggest something? Get rid of the word WORRY. GOD DOES NOT WANT YOU TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING. HE WANTS YOU TO LEAVE EVERYTHING IN HIS QUITE CAPABLE AND LOVING HANDS.
GOD only wants you to be "CONCERNED" with things in your life. That of course involves people. HE wants you to be CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN, CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS, CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR JOB AND CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION....BUT GOD DOES NOT WANT YOU TO WORRY ABOUT THESE THINGS.
WORRYING IS A WASTED EMOTION. Years ago, with God's help, I replaced worrying with "being concerned". I try not even to use the word. If I say it, I usually catch myself and quickly replace it with "being concerned". That is exactly what I believe God wishes us to do. You can be very concerned about anything you wish. That is your choice, however, there is a difference between worrying and being concerned.
When you worry, you do not have FAITH in GOD, only in circumstances and events. So that is not good. You should always have faith in God. This means to believe that HE is overseeing everything in your life and he will provide for you and your loved ones. HE will never desert you and leave you empty handed. NEVER. It is not possible. HE loves you and me too much. And the closer you allow yourself to get to Jesus, the more you will feel his Love... His protection and His mercy on anything you have done in your life that your not proud of.
STOP WORRYING! Especially today, with so much bad economic news and hardships people are facing. Save your energy and "be concerned" about your life, but DO NOT WORRY. There is a fine line when you are thinking about what is troubling you...and what is the best way to handle that situation vs. worrying. Worrying becomes all consuming, is stressful and leaves you fearful. When "being concerned" crosses into "worrying"....YOU FORGET ALL ABOUT GOD. You can not do that. You have to remember GOD IS HERE. It is not fiction. Stop yourself from feeling and believing, that everything is on your shoulders. It is not. Most of our troubles, if you want to call them that, can be on GOD'S SHOULDERS. HE SEES ALL AND KNOWS ALL...and HE is very strong. Do not worry about burdening GOD.
There are two important things you must do. Act responsibly to the best of your ability and have love in your heart. No one is perfect and GOD knows that. That is all you must do in order to know that GOD will take care of you and your troubles.
But may I make a strong suggestion, PLEASE LOVE GOD. It is hard to find mere words to describe HIM. But GOD is more than deserving...HE is so sweet, and loving, and kind and thoughtful. Anyone who goes to GOD and invests their time with HIM will feel happy, loved, protected AND SPOILED.
When is the last time you felt really spoiled? I dislike to say, "Loving God has it's rewards, but it is true".
GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH, HE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO WORRY. TURN OVER YOUR WORRIES TO HIM AND TAKE HIS LOVE IN RETURN.

IF YOU KNEW WHAT GOD KNEW....
IF YOU KNEW WHAT GOD KNEW....then you would know that eventually, everything will be ok. GOD is present in our world and more importantly, in our everyday lives. HE knows everything. You see, this is really GOD's world and we are in HIS world. HE will allow certain things to happen to us in HIS world. There are several reasons for this.
It may be part of our journey, our destiny. We may grow through various situations and become better people. And we will learn about ourselves and become stronger individuals. We will gain wisdom. By becoming a better person, we will learn to love more and be less angry. We will learn from our failures and begin anew to grow from our experiences. With more inner knowledge and love, wisdom will follow.
Wisdom may come from ourselves however, it may also be given to us from GOD. Use this time in your life to learn about yourself. What do you really need to survive? What excess is around you that is not really necessary? What makes you happy? It may not be materialistic things....but joy from relationships and security that family, friends and GOD will always be there for you.
Turn to GOD and ask HIM to take away all your fears. Ask HIM to show you all the beauty and good things in your life. Be grateful for what you have, instead of what you do not have. See the positive in everything. Smile more, it really will make you feel better.
There is nothing that GOD can not get you through! These economic times are NOT TOO DIFFICULT FOR GOD. HE does not value money, HE ONLY VALUES YOU AND YOUR LOVE !
